Eyelash Lifting
Something old, something new, lash lift and tint to enhance your new do! This service is the new trend for 2019. Eyelash lift and tint is great for people whose lashes are long but grow out straight or downwards. People who have allergies to lash extension or falsie glue would benefit from this approach as well, but honestly anyone can do this service. Lash lifts make the eyes look wider and gives you the mascara look you want without the mascara. It is great for people who want the option of having a more natural look or a more dramatic look. Something that we here at Tappa have noticed is that if you are a gal who is into the big dramatic lash look, you can get a lash lift as well as lash extensions for an overall glam look, which is awesome for proms and weddings! The process does not cause any damage to your natural lashes and there is no upkeep required. There is only one rule to follow, which is to avoid getting your newly lifted lashes wet or full of mascara for the first 24 hours.
We start out by cleansing your lashes of any left over makeup or oils. We then fit the appropriate size lift rod onto your lids and start lifting up the lashes onto it with a water soluble glue. We follow the 6,5,4 rule which means 6 minutes for the lift solution, 5 minutes for the setting lotion, and 4 minutes for the tint. We will sometimes put a biotox lash treatment cream on for more damaged lashes. This treatment stays on the lashes for 3 minutes. Once the service is complete, we just brush out the lashes with a clean mascara brush and you are left with beautiful lifted lashes for 6-8 weeks!!
