Wow!! What an evening. Thank you to Yelp Ottawa’s Ambassador, Samantha for partnering with us at Tappa Hair Salon to host the “Elite Yelpers of Ottawa”
The Idea of an “Elite Ottawa Yelp Event” is to create a wow experience for the Ottawa Area, “Elite Yelpers”
Tappa loves to create experiences, and has a passion to make our guests feel wanted, important, and most crucial, feeling better when they are leaving our salon than when they arrived.
When we started to brainstorm an event that would be different than other Yelp Events, we considered what services we could offer that maybe none or few had enjoyed before. From there we decided we had to indulge the “Yelpers” in a Nioxin dermabrasion nioscope and scalp renew hair treatment.
What is a Nioxin nioscope and scalp renew?
Nioxin nioscope is a state-of-the-art in-salon consultation tool. This magnifying device can assist in taking a close-up look of the scalp while displaying the image onto a monitor, giving the client before and after images and empowering them with knowledge of the efficacy of the Nioxin 3-Part Systems.
Once we take the before picture of your scalp, we then exfoliate the scalp with the Nioxin dermabrasion treatment to remove build up, excess oils and any dead layer of skin. We follow with a Head Spa to stimulate the scalp, which allows for blood circulation and in return is a great stress releaser and proven to assist with a better sleep. We Follow with a professional blowout and then re-exam the scalp after the treatment and analyze the difference between the before and after of your scalp.
The beauty of this treatment is it adds body and shine in ones hair for up to one month.

We had snacks, games and swag bags for our Ottawa Yelpers
We also set up a Beauty Bar and did lip exfoliation and plumping services and had a dry bar set up so we could educate the “Yelpers” on how to style hair, hair tips for day 2 hair, and how to use many of the new hair tools that are on the market now.
