Summer is finally here
So we think SUMMER is finally here and we can’t believe the last time we connected that it was Spring, it seems only minutes ago.
We have so many great things to share that we have been busy at.
In Edition #11 we mentioned how we would be holding a workshop for our team members who wanted to participate in the Beauty Envision Awards. We held this workshop the last weekend of April. We brought in mentors from Toronto, a professional photographer, a make up artist and with our team developed we let the fun begin. The Sunday/Monday workshop was a fury of activity and the results were astonishing.
We are very proud to say Yana made top 10 Canada – Colourist of the Year and Dan placed top 3 Canada for Colourist of the Year, and is now off to Los Angeles to compete further. We will be sure to let you know how he does in Edition #13 of

Now what shall we tell you about next…..oh yes NIOXIN, and our “Spring Is in the Hair” Nioxin Event. WOW, what a success!!!! We had a full house!! So much activity!! Prizes, refreshments and Wella Eeperts on site to answer our clients' questions about their hair and scalp concerns. We also had a few of our local Ottawa area "Influencers" join the fun this time round!!!

We are always launching new products, and this May did not disappoint. We are so pleased to say we are now carrying Seb Man! Wow, what an amazing and completely inclusive product line for all the men out there!! The products address all of their grooming needs. We launched this product line introductory with a Father’s Day Give Away.

As many of our guests, and those who follow our articles know, Tappa LOVES to give back to the COMMUNITY. May and June were full of many causes near and dear to our hearts, and we were so pleased to be able to support and participate in so many different cause related events.
Our Team Took the AWE Pledge;; "Accept Without Exception" – We got our wings!!! Check out these pics
In May we also participated in The Cure Foundation. We raised over $100.00
Our Team also endorsed Colour for the Cure. This was such a fun creative way to give back to such a wonderful cause. Check out some of these pics
Then we also supported another cause near and dear to our Hearts – Cystic Fibrosis. One of our clients is an ambassador for this program and we were so flattered when she asked our salon to participate. With our help and so many others, they were able to raise over $10,000-WOW!!! We were very pleased to be invited back to the George Vanier Kindergarten Family Picnic, where we give 100 kids some fun hair, and introduce them early to the “beauty world”.
Wow. So much has happened and we haven’t even covered EDUTAINMENT yet - lol
Our Team participated in an advanced Balayage - Long Hair Styling Workshop. We learned the colour trends, placements and tones that are hitting the streets for this summer.
This workshop also focused on the new style for long hair – Festival Hair.
Yes, accessories for the hair are all coming back.
