We are back with “What’s on Tap at Tappa”
We have so many great things to share that we have been busy with, and of course we are headed into one of our favourite and busiest times of the year, just like everyone else, the holiday season!!!
We first have to let everyone know what a success our Bi- Annual Nioxin #MANEEVENT 2019 was. We had an amazing turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves so much!! We had lots of fun, games and many ways for guests to win prizes. Everyone left with a “swag bag”. We loved our DIY dry Bar, teaching guests how to use all these wonderful hair tools on themselves!!!
Another new addition to our event was the “photo booth” – it's self explanatory lol, and let’s just say, got lots of use – click here to see some of the Tappa shenanigans from that day.
One of our newest editions to our event was our Silent Auction. We had many items donated by local Ottawa area Influencers and all money raised from the auction went to Children At Risk – Autism. We also donated $5.00 from every service to this charity.
Our Fall Nioxin Event always ties into our Celebrity Pumpkins, which again is the annual fundraiser for Children at Risk Ottawa – Autism. Our team is very creative and they didn’t disappoint, with this year’s theme of Lion King.
This is our 14th year participating in this event. There we 128 “carvers” who participated and we are very PROUD and excited to say Tappa Hair Salon came in 1st place out of 128 carvers, raising the most money for autism, raising almost $1800.00 – Woot Woot!!!
Getting ready for the holiday season also means our team ‘upping” their game and being able to offer the latest and greatest to our guests. We had an amazing styling class giving us sooo many ideas of different ways to style our client's hair this holiday season. Volume, waves, and curls are certainly trending this season. The beauty of getting a beautiful blow out is it’s not only great for the evening party, but with our new techniques and products, the volume will last you for days!!!
We have been using these techniques since, and asking guests for their feedback. On this guest we used the “bungying” blow dry technique, a way to ensure lift at root and lots of texture movement on ends. We finished the “bungying” technique with our new “curl transferring” pin curl set. Click here to read how one guest was so sad after 3 days to have to wash and style herself and what her hair literally “stood up to”.
OMG – we have sooooooo many new amazing products!!! We have something for everybody!!!!
Curly hair – Wella Nutri curls line – There is a product for every curl and or wave type and desired hold, and curl formation.
Do you want smoother hair??? – We are now carrying Peter Coppolla's Hair Smoothing system and home maintenance products.
Need some glamming up for holiday season- you need our Primal Cosmetic Contact Lenses- they are approved by Health Canada and reusable!! Soooo many colour choices!!
And while we are on the subject of eyes, are you thinking of Fab lashes, but not loving the adhesive? Find the magnetic lashes hard to apply yourself – you need “lash Flash” This complete kit is only $39.99 and so easy to use.
Got a fab blow out and want your hair to last as long as possible. Don’t like the idea of sleeping “standing up”? Well you’ve likely heard that you need Satin Pillow cases…..yes we are carrying these now too !!!!
